Mandate of the Society
The mandate of the Society is to promote, particularly in India, the advancement of the knowledge of Carbon Science and Technology dealing with conventional as well as advanced carbon materials by involving both academia and Industry. Providing a common platform by organizing Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Refresher courses on a regular basis. To motivate young scientists and students to pursue carbon S&T thus creating trained manpower and future knowledgebase in the country which may serve and drive Indian carbon industry towards new generation technological advancements. To constantly engage all the stake holders into scientific and professional dialogue on different platforms and build relationships.
