General Body Meeting of The Indian Carbon Society (ICS) will be held at 5.30 P.M on 18th February 2026 at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad during Conference on Advanced Carbon Materials (CACM-2026) to elect council members of the Society for the year 2025-2028 as per procedure laid down below:
1) Nomination on plain paper duly proposed and seconded by eligible members along with the consent of the contestant must be submitted to the office of The Indian Carbon Society latest by 5.00 pm 06th January, 2026.
2) Scrutiny of the proposals will be held on 09th January, 2026 at 11.00 A.M. in ICS Office, NPL, New Delhi and the final list of valid nominations will be displayed on society website (www.Indiancarbonsociety.org) by 4.00 P.M.
3) The withdrawal of the candidature, if any, can be made by 12th January, 2026 up to 4.00 P.M at ICS Office, NPL, New Delhi – 110012
4) Final list of the valid nominations will be displayed at the Society Website on 15th January, 2026 by 4.00 P.M
5) Election of the council members will be held at around 6 P.M on 18th February, 2026 at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad.
6) Declaration of the results will be on the same day.
